Clint

Age: 9 Years
Sex: Male
Size: Large

Clint is a handsome guy that came to MaPaw almost a year ago as a victim of the economy when his family could no longer care for him. When he first joined his foster home, he was confused about what was happening. Clint quickly warmed up to his human caregivers and was soon making friends, both human and canine. This big guy just wants attention and someone to love.

Clint loves toys, riding in the car and people of all ages. He is a vocal boy and has a low grumbly voice when he expresses himself. He will do best in a sibe-savvy home that is experienced in typical husky ways. Clint will be fine as an only dog or with another female canine companion.

At 9 years old, Clint is a low key husky who enjoys the attention of his humans and just wants a family to call his own.

Neiko (1)Neiko (3)

Neiko is a very handsome three year old boy that has so much love to give. This social pup has never met a person or fellow canine (medium or large) that he hasn?t instantly loved. Due to his breed and youth, he will need an active family and a secure 6-foot fence to keep him safe and sound.

Neiko is thrilled with all of the snow this year as his favorite pastimes are playing in the snow until he is good and tired. Then he looks forward to snuggling with his family and sharing the couch. He is a lover!

Sadly Neiko must find a new forever home due to circumstances beyond his control. He is a wonderful pup and he is just waiting to find that special person that will be his best forever friend.

Nanook 1

Congratulations Nanook!!

Nanook is a very handsome black and white husky with irresistible freckles on his nose and baby blue eyes.  He is six to seven years old and is a very laid back boy who loves to lie around with his friends.  He is a great cuddler, gives lots and lots of kisses and is happy to lie at your feet.

Nanook must find a new home due to life changes with his current family.  They are heartbroken to see him go, but they love  him so much and feel this will best for him..  He is great with kids and loves other dogs similar to his size.  He loves to snuggle on the couch or bed with you and watch movies.  He doesn’t care what he watches, as long as he is with his person(s).

If you are looking for a mellow guy to be a forever friend, Nanook just might be the perfect fit for you.

Chase 3Chase 2

Chase is a very handsome 2 year old husky that is bound to cheer anyone up. This guy is just full of fun and loves everyone. Sadly he lost his home when his family had to move to where dogs were not allowed.

Chase is a great age – no more puppy pranks or puppy madness. He has a lot of energy and yet enjoys quiet time with lots of cuddling. He is use to another canine companion (Zeva) and will need to go to a new hone with huskies or dogs his size or bigger.
Chase is a wonderful young dog that will share good times with you ~ greeting you at the door to make sure you had a good day.
Are looking for a loving and long term relationship? Chase is just waiting for love…

Shawnee

shawnee-mediumAge: Approximately 9 – 10 Years
Sex: Female
Size: Large

Congratulations Shawnee!!!

Shawnee is approximately 9 – 10 years old and is an Alaskan Malamute. She is a very large girl and her last weigh in was just over 100 pounds. Sadly, her human dad left one day (in an ambulance) and she doesn’t understand why he didn’t come back to her.

We welcomed her back, but she was depressed and confused. Her foster home has showered her with lots of TLC. She has come out of her shell and seems to be enjoying life again.

This brown eyed beauty is a somewhat calm gal that is best with male dogs her size or even larger. She is wonderful in the house and she can never get enough attention (in her mind).

Shawnee is a mooch and any food in her reach is fair game. She is a bit of a chunky monkey and could shed a few pounds ~ after the holiday season, of course.

If you are looking for a big friend with a gentle heart, this girl may be just the right one for you…

Skeeter

Skeeter 2
Age: 11 months
Sex: Male
Size: Small

Congratulations Skeeter!!

Skeeter is a handsome and very active 11-month-old husky puppy who is full of curiosity and mischief. He was given up by his original family for being too active. True to the breed, Skeeter needs a lot of activity and canine playtime to channel his energy ~ a tired husky is a good husky!
Skeeter is a very smart boy and knows “sit” and takes treats nicely. He is good on a leash, Siberian-style with some pulling. He is wonderful with other dogs and people and will benefit from consistent training. He is the typical Siberian Husky puppy ~ active, energetic , playful and goofy.
Skeeter will be best in a home with a sturdy, tall fence to keep him safe and sound, another canine playmate his size or larger, and someone who will have the patience and consistency to further his training. If you think Skeeter might be a good match for us, please let us know!

Mya

Mya 3

Age: 7 months
Sex: Female
Size: average

Congratulations Mya!

Mya is a lovable  and sweet 7 month old puppy that is looking for a perfect forever home.  She came into rescue due to an unexpected change in the family’s life.  Her previous family rescued her from a situation that was not suitable for Mya.  Unfortunately, they were unable to keep her and asked us to help re-home her.

Mya loves Kongs filled with peanut butter and this keeps her occupied when alone.  She loves to steal makeup brushes when you are getting ready for the day – make sure they are put away if you like them.  She is the first to greet you at the door to welcome you home.  She loves car rides and will put her head on your shoulder.  This girl loves to play with other dogs and then be right by your side for quality time.

If you are looking for a sweet and playful dog, Mya could be a good match for you.  Due to her age and energy level, she would be best placed with another active dog her size and a fenced in yard to run and play in.

crystal

Crystal is a senior who came into rescue through CCSPCA. This girl has had several lumps removed that are benign. She is on medication for her weak back legs that are starting to give out. Crystal loves to cuddle and is quite a talker. Due to her health issues she is a permanent resident living with a loving foster family.

Sasha

Sasha 1Congratulations Sasha!
Sasha is a 7-month-old female Siberian Husky with a black and white coat and beautiful baby blue eyes. Sadly, due to her mom’s medical condition it was necessary to give her to rescue. We have promised she will have the best of care both while she is with MaPaw and in her new forever home.
Sasha is a very social girl ~ always ready for games with the other pups. She is full of energy and spunk and as you can see by her muddy paws she isn’t afraid to get dirty by playing in the rain.
Sasha will need a home that is very active and preferably an active canine companion to harness her energy. A tired husky is a good husky! If you can give Sasha the commitment she deserves and the patience and devotion to continue her puppy training, she may be the one for you!
