Aisha

Congratulations Aisha!!

Age: 4 years
Sex: Female
Size: Small
aisha1  aisha4 aisha3

This little cutie came into rescue because her family was unable to continue keeping a dog where they live. Aisha has a beautiful fluffy black and white coat and stands about 2 feet from the ground. One of our regular dog walkers has nicknamed her Little Sweetness because of her smaller stature and friendly nature.

Aisha enjoys human companionship and gets along with most of the dogs she’s met since arriving in rescue. She’s always happy to sit on command and give you her paw. True to her breed, Aisha’s husky prey drive is strong, so it would be best for her to live in a house without cats or other small animals. Her energy level is moderate. She loves going for brisk walks and would appreciate a companion who enjoys getting out for walks with her. After her walk she’ll be happy to hang out and enjoy your company.

Tika

Congratulations Tika!!

Age: 5 years
Sex: Male
Size: Large

Tika is a 5 year old male, Alaskan Malamute and Husky mix with a gentle disposition. This big guy came into rescue because his family moved and was unable to take him along. He has lived outside his whole life but Tika is a people dog who loves to snuggle close. He is currently being treated for Lyme, although this hasn’t slowed him down.  He enjoys walks and playtime with the other dogs. If you’re looking for a friendly and mellow companion, Tika might be just the right dog for you!

Foxer

Congratulations Foxer!!

Foxer is a red and white husky mix with a huge heart and ears to match! We suspect he has some German Shepherd and Collie in him, but in any event this guy is a charmer! He came to us listed as 10 years old ~ if this is true, he is the youngest 10 year old we have had the pleasure to meet! He runs and plays with the best of them and has even jumped a half Dutch door to get in with his foster family and snuggle up.

Foxer is an extremely affectionate boy that just wants to be loved and near you. He is a gentle soul and always the first one to greet you in the morning or when you come home.

Foxer also has a half tail, which we were told was that way at birth. It certainly is fine and is almost always wagging. Foxer will be an excellent candidate for someone looking for a calmer dog. He will need a family that can give him the exercise he needs. Foxer is a welcomed and well-mannered houseguest who is trustworthy in the home.

Foxer enjoys snuggling, walks of any kind and trips in the car. He is good with dogs his size or larger and walks well on a leash. He is a very smart boy and likes to show off by sitting and giving paw. There is just one more thing that would make Foxer’s dream come true ~ his very own forever home!

Fuzzy

Fuzzy
Congratulations Fuzzy!!

Fuzzy is a red and white wooly husky. She’s 9 years young, and loves to voice her opinion. She has the cutest woo-woo! This little girl lost her home, due to housing problems. She gets along with the other kennel dogs and loves to follow you around.

Charlee

Congratulations Charlee!!
Charlee is an oh-so-handsome Siberian Husky who had his first birthday in May! His red and white coat and brilliant blue eyes are certain to capture your attention and your heart!
Charlee is an excellent example of a young Siberian ~ handsome, happy and looking for mischief. He will be best in a home with another active canine to play with – a tired husky is a good husky! He fancies himself as a lead dog. So he would be happy with another easy-going male or a female who doesn’t want to be the boss.
Charlee absolutely loves people and has earned the title Kissy face. Once he has had a good romp with other canine friend(s) he wants to cuddle and be near his family. Charlee wants to be part of the pack, his humans are very important to him.
Charlee loves squeaky toys and closely monitored marrow bones. Most of all, Charlee dreams of a family to call his own?

Innoko

Innoko

Congratulations Innoko!!

Innoko is a beautiful red and white boy that was left to fend for himself in his yard. You can see in the “before” photo how his hair was burnt from the sun. His fur has now turned a very dark and beautiful cinnamon color now that all the dead burnt hair is gone. Innoko came into rescue severely heartworm positive and is on medical hold while he goes through his treatment. He has gained 22 pounds since coming into rescue and he is a little on the chubby side. Now to lose a couple of those pounds… During his treatment Innoko has not really been with other dogs. He will be dog-tested at a later date to see how he does. Please look for updates on this handsome boy!

**Update Sept 19-2014 – The one time skinny little boy now weights 79 lbs. He was at the vet today for another HW test and has since gained 33lbs. He is now HW Negative!

Skye

Age: 1 year
Sex: Female
Size: Petite
Skye is a pretty, petite 1 year old that needed a bit of help from her friends. Somehow she fractured her front leg and her owner could not provide the medical attention necessary. She needed the help of MaPaw and friends to arrange the needed surgery in an attempt to save her leg.
Surgery was scheduled and a plate and pins were attached to the fractured leg so it could heal properly and add extra strength. Our girl was a great patient and the surgery was a success. Skye gets a little anxious if crated, but is trustworthy in the house.
