Saber came into rescue because of family changes that would have left him home alone for too many hours, and they wanted Saber to have the companionship this good boy deserves.

Saber’s foster mom has only good things to say about this playful and silly young boy. He gets along with other dogs, likes people, and is reportedly good with kids. Saber is trustworthy in the house and respects boundaries (no counter surfing or need for a crate). He has loads of energy but easily calms down when need be. Saber knows all of his basic commands: paw, sit, down, and stay. This boy just loves life and is always ready to tell you so! He’s a mouthy pup who enjoys a good conversation (or argument) on just about anything. This handsome sweetheart is about as perfect a young Husky as you’ll find!

Saber has great fun playing with his two husky foster brothers, so he’d probably enjoy a sibling who has the same energy level as he does, however if he’s adopted into a home where he receives lots of loving attention and has some playful doggy friends, he’ll probably be quite happy enjoying his top dog status!

Our best guess is that Blue is a Husky/Shiba Inu mix. This little guy came into rescue from a residence that was incapable of properly caring for him. He’s a bit timid at first but bonds quickly with people. Blue loves petting, belly rubs, and walks. He’s shy around other dogs, so we think he’d probably be best as an only dog in a house with just adults who are home most of the time, or with someone who could take Blue to work with them. In return Blue will be a loyal and wonderful companion!

King is a fun loving youth who’s had little training. King would greatly benefit from husky savvy humans who will help him learn basic commands and how to be a polite pup! We’ll elaborate more on King as we learn more about him.

Kiya is a brown and white malamute. This pretty pup is a lovable sweetheart with people, but less than excited about making friends with other dogs.

Blue is a friendly beauty who along well with other dogs and loves children of all ages, from infants to older kids. She does well in the car and on a leash. She’s not food possessive, although she likes to think that all toys are hers. When asked to list her good qualities, her foster mom says, “everything”. Her one vice is stealing food boxes from the pantry. Apparently the boxes of mac and cheese are a favorite.

Codi and Zeus met each other after they arrived in rescue and have become bonded to one another. True to their husky breed, both of these good natured pups are known escape artists, however since finding each other they never challenge the fence. MaPaw’s caretaker believes they’ve stopped trying to escape because they’ve found contentment in being with each other, so it has been decided that they will be happiest adopted out together to be forever companions. Codi is a friendly and affectionate girl with a happy wag who came into rescue as a result of divorce. Zeus is a funny and energetic adolescent male who loves humans and his gal pal Codi, but isn’t too crazy about cats. If you’re a husky savvy home who’s looking for a wonderful pair of dogs, then Codi and Zeus might be perfect for you.

Otis is a little brown eyed husky mix. He’s a funny little guy with a sweet, affectionate nature. His friendly personality and fluffy tail are his most obvious husky characteristics. He gets along with most everyone, especially women. Otis has no food aggression, plays well with other dogs, and does well on a leash. He would be particularly happy in a forever home with an active female human companion who he can go on fun walks with and then snuggle together at the end of the day.

As you can see from the photo below of Connor cuddling with his foster dad, he’s a friendly, affectionate boy looking for loving forever home. Connor is sweet dog who is house trained and crate trained. He gets along with other huskies and does well with older children.

Danko is a happy go lucky boy who is great with kids and other dogs, and knows his basic commands. He was surrendered into rescue because of a work schedule change that resulted in Danko being left alone too much. Cuteness highlights: He loves riding in cars and is a big fan of watching cartoons!
