Sebastian

Age: 10 Years
Sex: Male
Size: Average

Congratulations Sebastian!!!

Sebastian is a stunning gray and white ten-year-old male Siberian Husky. He was originally rescued by his family in Arizona and has been a beloved member of their family for 8 years. Sadly, their jobs take them overseas at the end of July and Sebastian needs to find a loving home.

Sebastian is a kind hearted and bright boy who is very musical. He loves to sing along with you if you play a harmonica or a squeaky toy. He has always been closely cared for by his vet and did have an ACL surgery a few years ago. His back left leg will get a bit crampy if he walks too long. He does love to walk though ~ you just have to pace it.

Sebastian loves to travel and enjoys long road trips. He was the family’s backseat driver all the way to Alaska last summer and loved it! He is very friendly with children of all ages, but no cats please.

Sebastian is looking for a family that will love him as much as he will love you. He is past the destructive puppy stage and has so much more life and love in him. Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet boy?

Joey

Age: Approximately 4 Years
Sex: Male
Size: Large

Congratulations Joey!!!

Click here to check out my video on YouTube!

Joey is a very special Collie/Siberian mix thought to be approximately four years old who is completely blind. He was found lost and alone. We will never know his past history, however, we do know he is an absolutely wonderful dog that is affectionate and happy just to follow your voice and be part of the family.

Joey is settling into his foster home and getting along well with the other dogs. He quickly learned his way around his foster home and the fenced backyard. He is an expert on getting on the couch and settling in for some cuddle time. On a sunny day, Joey loves to bask in the sun with his nose straight up sniffing the air, just loving life ~ Joey-style.

Joey is delighted to meet new friends and meets them with sniffs and kisses, his tail always wagging. He is rather low energy, however, does prefer as much attention as he can get. He is completely housebroken and trustworthy with the exception of some counter-surfing when he smells something good

Shiloh

Age: 10 Weeks
Sex: Male
Size: Small Now, But Getting Bigger Every Day!

Congratulations Shiloh!!!

Click here to check out my video on YouTube!

Shiloh is a male ten week old puppy that is the new kid on the block! This white, blue eyed bundle of fur and energy is settling in with his foster home and becoming familiar with his puppy routine – crate training, housebreaking and socialization with the other pups and people.

Shiloh will need to be placed in an active, sibe-savvy home preferably with another active Siberian or dog and fenced in yard to play in. Due to his young age he cannot be alone for more than four hours. He is a very active, mischievous boy and lives up to the Siberian puppy name. His forever family will need to commit 100% to training and patience ~ a sense of humor is a definite plus for this little cutie as well.

Ellie and Pups Reunion

Ellie and 5 of her 8 pups had a family reunion at the Farm. Lily, Contessa, Charlie, Zeus, Samson and Ellie had a great time playing and getting pets from the humans.

Breezy

Age: 12 Years
Sex: Female
Size: Average

Congratulations Breezy!!!

Click here to check out my video on YouTube!

Breezy is a pure white Siberian Husky with baby blue eyes. She is reported as 12 years young, but has the energy of a two year old! Pardon her appearance, she is having a bad hair day. Poor Breezy was given a haircut and lost most of her beautiful fur. No worries ~ it is growing back quickly.

Breezy is a very social and sweet girl. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and is very affectionate with people. This girl is a definite cuddler and loves to sleep in bed, if allowed. She is housebroken and trustworthy in the house.

Breezy’s perfect home will be one where she can hang out and just be the “Queen”. She loves attention and will be fine as an only dog.

Noble

Age: Approximately 10 Years
Sex: Male
Size: Average

Our gentle teddy bear, Noble, began his journey North of the Rainbow Bridge. His passing was unexpected and we can’t believe that he is gone. Dearest Noble ~ wear your silver harness proudly as you dance among the stars. It was our privilege to care for you and you will be greatly missed. We wish we could have had more time with you. Candles are lit to guide your way and many are waiting to welcome you at the Bridge. ~ May 26, 2011

Noble is a wonderful mature Siberian who was found wandering on city streets. He isn’t telling his past, but we quickly realized this boy is a wonderful companion looking for love and a home with a family to call his own.

He is affectionately called Woolerz by his foster mom and he is a stunning whooly (long haired) husky with bright blue eyes estimated to be ten years old. His favorite pastimes are going for walks and car rides.

If you are looking for a friendly walking partner, Noble just might be the perfect companion for you!

Dozer

Age: 1 Year
Sex: Male
Size: Large

Congratulations Dozer!!!

Click here to check out my video on YouTube!

Dozer is a very handsome one year old male Siberian with penetrating blue eyes that is all about FUN ~ this boy wants to play, play, play!

Dozer became unhappy in his prior home without another active canine companion to play with. He became frustrated and started breaking out of his crate and trying to dig out of his fence. His current MaPaw foster home has another Siberian his age and they are playing non-stop. We have seen no signs of any anxiety. A tired husky is a good husky. He is a bit of a “chunky monkey”, but those extra pounds are shedding fast with his increased activity.

Dozer fancies himself as a lapdog and loves playtime, walks and swims in secured areas. He is a typical husky and is quite adept at counter-surfing, digging and chewing. He will need to go to a home with a sturdy six foot fence and an active puppy pal to keep him entertained.

The perfect home for Dozer will be an active family with another young husky or active medium to large dog he can play with and exercise and then hang out for quality time with the entire family.

Cooper & Dylan

Age: 6 – 8 Months
Sex: Male
Size: Average

Congratulations Cooper & Dylan!!!

Click here to check out our video on YouTube!

Meet Cooper and Dylan – some of our newest guests at MaPaw. These two boys, estimated to be six to eight months, were found wandering along a road all by themselves. They were frightened to death and cowering from everyone. We knew that their best chance at the family life they so deserved would be to bring them into rescue for a lot of guidance and TLC.

Once they arrived in rescue, it took quite a while to encourage the boys to leave the safety of the crate they shared in the van, however, once they saw other friendly husky faces they started to relax. The other pups are showing them the ropes and that people can be trusted. They are slowly and surely relaxing and learning to enjoy attention and affection and being part of their foster home’s household.

Please check back for updates on our two boys. We are very excited ~ they have so much potential and wonderful personalities. Their confidence is growing daily and they are fast learning to be happy sibe puppies.

Cooper and Dylan are a bonded pair and depend on each other. They sleep together and are never far apart. They will soon be available for adoption, however, cannot be separated.

Update on Coda

Coda went in for his two month post-surgery check up and x-rays. The good news is Coda is feeling great ~ the not so good news is our boy is too energetic and it is becoming extremely difficult to keep him quiet. The x-rays show the plate has bent from too much activity and Coda absolutely must be kept very quiet for another month. On a positive note, calluses have begun to build around the plate and grafts and he will continue to heal as long as the plate is protected from further bending.

Please send sibe vibes to Coda to be patient for another four weeks. He is a real trooper, but is becoming restless and frustrated. We are trying to keep him entertained with chews and pig ears. He absolutely loves car rides so daily trips will be included in his routine to brighten his day.
