Comet is a sweet elderly guy who came to MaPaw via the SPCA where he was surrendered because his family lost their home and were unable to keep him. We promised him that we would help him find a new family to live out the rest of his life with. Comet is great with people and dogs. He is a calm guy who just wants a soft bed, good food, and love in a new forever home!

Max and Dore and 7 year old Husky siblings who were surrendered to MaPaw because their family lost their home and weren’t able to give Max and Dore a home that they need. We promised to find a new home for them. We would like for them to stay together since they are siblings that have been together their whole lives and get along beautifully, but we will consider separating them if we can find good homes for each of them.

Giroux is a super sweet boy, very gentle and appears to like kids of all ages and so far his exposure to large dogs. He does not appear to have been leash walked in his past so his foster home is working on that and making progress. He listens to the commands of sit and stay and takes treats gently. He also likes to snatch food out of your hand so his foster home is working on redirecting his food assertiveness as well. He has been left home (not crated) and has done very well without getting into anything (great for a Husky!!). While his foster home continues to learn about him and help him be a great boy, he will be looking for his forever home!

Meet Tess!
This red-headed beauty was surrendered because of a limp in her rear leg. She is currently in a foster home under observation and will be checked out by a vet. Despite the limp, she gets around very well, never complains, is housebroken, loves people, loves kids, and can be left home unattended without issue! Tess is a wonderful dog!!

Meet Sheena! She is a 2 year old husky that was picked up as a stray in NJ. We don’t know how long this poor girl was out on her own but we have promised her we will find her a home! She weighs about 40 pounds and has a sweet personality. We know she likes other dogs and loves to cuddle up on your lap. She is a real sweetheart!

Meet Lily! She is a 2 year old Husky/Shepherd mix that weighs about 45 pounds. Lily was picked up as a stray and transported to MaPaw in the hopes of finding her furever home! Lily gets along great with other dogs and enjoys a good game of tug-o-war and fetch! She is very affectionate and loves people! She will make a wonderful addition to your family!
