Reilly is a rather petite Siberian Husky with freckles on her nose and baby blue eyes. She is two years oldand this girl just wants to have fun! Her prior family loves her, but Reilly would become very anxious when left alone. Sadly, they were not in the position to adopt another pup as a companion for Reilly. After working with a behaviorist, they decided it would be best for Reilly to come to us.
Reilly came in rather scared and not knowing what was going on. The other huskies were waiting to greet her and soon she was racing and playing with her new friends.
Reilly is a sweet girl and adjusts well with other dogs. She has become a wonderful ambassador for MaPaw and now happily greets the new dogs coming in. She is wonderful with people ~ everyone is Reilly’s friend. After a good romp with the other pups, she is happy to go into her kennel and relax with a treat and a toy.
Reilly will need to go to a home with another active dog. This happy girl has a shining future ~ perhaps she can share it with you!

Congratulations Guy!
Guy is a handsome “husky” Siberian Husky thought to be about 10 years old. This poor guy was a victim of neglect; he thought he had finally found a family to call his own. Sadly, when Guy was due for a bath his people preferred to tie him up outside. Guy was very unhappy and confused ~ What did he do that was so wrong as to be banished from the ones he loved? He was out in the elements, alone, for a year.
Guy was fed well (obviously), however, food was not what he yearned for, it was to be back in the house with his family where he belonged. Guy is now with us and is enjoying socializing with the other dogs and can’t get enough attention from people, the poor boy is just starved for companionship and love.
Guy has started a diet to slowly remove some of those extra pounds. Now that he can play and be walked, we have no doubt he will slim down and be a much happier boy. He is good on a leash for a husky and is quickly becoming one of our favorites.

MaPaw Letter to Santa

santaDear Santa,

As huskies go, we’ve been pretty good this year. Only a few shredded beds, not toooo much howling and not a bit of crazy husky zoomies (we swear!). So, we’re making our list and hoping Santa (and you) will check it twice.

1. Cleaning supplies: Yes, really! You have no idea how much of a mess 20+ huskies can make! We are always in need of bleach for bed and blankie washing.

2. Office supplies: We know this one is boring too, but we use a lot of paper and toner cartridges running things around here. BTW: gift cards to Staples and Office Depot work really well too!

3. Prepaid vet care: Sometimes when new friends join the pack they need special care to get them healthy. So we could really use some help paying the vet…as long as none of the money goes to giving us shots [ouch] Please make checks payable to Schwenksville Vet ,298 Meyers, Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473

4. Money: We know it’s a little rude to ask for money, but hey…it can buy things like medicine and electricity and heat for our kennels. Besides, we’re dogs. “Rude” doesn’t phase us!

5. Homes of our own: It you have room in your heart and your home, why not mush over to sibes.com and see if one of us is right for you…or maybe one of your friends. Feel free to share our stories with others. You never know when a perfect match will be made.

Congratulations Duke!

Meet Duke ~ Doogie to his friends!  This 1 year old pup is a bi-eyed beauty with one brown eye and one baby blue.  Duke is a handsome pup with lots of husky energy! He is very friendly and loves attention from his human friends. And everyone is his friend, he knows no strangers. He loves to walk. He is good with other dogs his size or larger ~ true to the breed he is not good with small dogs, cats or critters.  He is crate trained and learning to be trustworthy in the house.

Doogie is a loveable and playful pup who is learning his manners very well.  Duke is at a young age with a high energy level and will be best placed with someone who is able to spend a lot of time with him and have patience with his future training to be a fantastic companion and buddy. Of course, a sense of humor is a definite plus… Duke is a great pup looking for a great home where he can love and be loved.

If you looking for a new friend, this guy might be the right one for you!

Pablo is a 2 year old male “whooly” (long hair) Siberian Husky that wants to be friends with everyone he meets. Sadly, Pablo came in as a result of the economy along with his companion, Romeo.
Pablo plays well with other dogs and has lived with young children. He loves to play with tennis balls and squeaky toys. We are getting to know Pablo and would prefer that he be re-homed with his pal, Romeo.

Congratulations Nika !!!

Nika is a very social 11 month old girl that recently joined our other guests at MaPaw. Unfortunately, Nika’s family was moving and could not take her along. We are quickly getting to know her and she already has quite the fan club among the volunteers.
Nika gets along with all the dogs she has met, both male and female, and she loves to have fun! She is well behaved and happily goes into her crate when asked to. She is very affectionate with people and is a joy to be around.

Nika is still a puppy and will need a home with another canine playmate, a secured yard to play in and keep her safe and sound. She will need someone that will be patient and consistent with her as she continues to grow into a faithful and loving companion.

Lexi is a petite and sweet 7 year old Siberian Husky that just wants to be loved. Unfortunately, Lexi lost her family when they had to move and could not take her with them. We are sure they miss her a lot.
Lexi is still frisky and enjoys a good tumble with the other sibes, however, she is most content to be leaning against you and giving lots of kisses. This affectionate girl just wants a new family to love and be part of. She will make any family a wonderful companion.
If you are looking for a best friend to spend quality time, someone who will always be happy to see you when you walk through the door, Lexi just might be the perfect match.

Noah is our new kid on the block and we are enjoying getting to know
him!  Noah is estimated to be 2-3 years old and is quite “fluffy”.  He
is playing nicely with the other dogs and frequent walks and proper

Zeus is an 8 year old male Siberian husky with a red and white coat and warm brown eyes.  Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances his family feels it best to find him another home and we have promised to help find a wonderful new family to give Zeus a new lease on life.

Zeus has a wonderful personality and is usually a laidback sort of guy.  He loves to go on walks and then is happy to chill with someone that will share the couch.  He is housebroken and crate trained.  He is very affectionate and just enjoys being nearby. He is good with other dogs and will join in the games for a while. He has lived with small children and has been wonderful with them.  We feel Zeus would be OK as a single dog as long as he gets frequent walks and lots of attention.

If you are looking for a calmer Siberian with unconditional love, Zeus may be the perfect match for you!

Congratulations Mina!!!

Mina is approximately 5 months old and the world is hers! This husky puppy is full of spunk and curiosity and is a typical high energy pup. She loves to play and when she is finally tired out she is more than happy to cuddle up with her human friends – until it’s time to play again!

Mina is good with other dogs. She is no shrinking violet and can be quite bossy at times. She will be best placed with another active dog that will allow her to be the alpha.

Mina has a friendly, outgoing personality. She does tend to guard her food and will need to be fed separately from her other canine pals. She loves toys and plays nicely with them; however, if given a chance, this little girl will grab and run.
