Bubba to his friends – is a lovable 8 year old Siberian Husky that is a sweet, affectionate boy. Unfortunately Bubba’s family had to move to a place where dogs were not welcomed. It broke their
heart to lose their friend and we assured them we would find Bubba a home that would love and spoil him.
Bubba is great to cuddle with! He is housebroken and is trustworthy in the house. He is a Velcro dog and you will often find him putting his head in your lap and looking up at you with those soulful brown eyes. He is content anywhere as long as he is near you.
If you are looking for a calmer companion to be at your side, Bubba may be the perfect fit for you.

Congratulations Nellie!!

Nellie is a sweet and petite girl with warm brown eyes guaranteed to
melt your heart. She is estimated to still be a puppy, 7 to 9 months
old, that somehow lost her family and friends. Sadly, her owners were
located but never came to take this wonderful girl home. We can’t
imagine why they didn’t. She has fast become one of our MaPaw
favorites.
As with most young huskies, Nellie has a lot of energy and loves to
play with other dogs. She is always looking for human attention and
wants to be near her family. She is an affectionate, loving girl that
will make someone a wonderful companion.
Nellie is a very smart girl and a quick learner. She will be a
wonderful addition to a family that will keep up with her manners and
basic training and lots and lots of love.

Congratulations Sitka!!

Sitka is a handsome 1 year, 8 month old Siberian Husky born on December 9, 2012. In his short life, Sitka has been passed around to 5 homes! We have promised him we would find his forever home that will always love and care for him. Somebody is going to get very lucky!
Sitka is a sweetheart, pure and simple. He has a sunny personality and a contagious smile. He is very smart and loves attention. He has a great voice and loves to carry on a Siberian woo-woo conversation. He loves to play with the other foster dogs, especially the females.
This poor pup has been shuffled around through no fault of his own. He came in very thin, scared and nervous. Both the shelter personnel and MaPaw volunteers have made wonderful progress with him and though he may be timid at first, he quickly warms up and becomes your new best friend. He does need a little help building up his confidence and gives great kisses once he knows you.

Rho is a quiet, sweet and happy Siberian, whose age is a mystery, anywhere from our vets guess of 5-8 and intake records of about 10 years. This sweetie is calm and well past the puppy prank stage.
Rho loves walks in the park and curling up in a soft bolster bed for quiet time. She is usually very calm, but runs around when motivated and she can do a 4 mile hike with only 1 or 2 breaks. She can do stairs, but prefers to sleep in her bed downstairs.
Rho will jump up on the sofa if invited, but won’t go up on her own. Soft, squeaky toys are her favorite type. When it comes to treats, she likes them all and waits patiently for them with a nice big smile on her face. Belly pets are also a favorite and she will let you know with a nudge if you stop too soon.
Rho would do well either as an only dog for a doting family, or part of a multi-dog family. Rho is great with all types of dogs and loves children. She likes to give kids lots of kisses.
Rho has lots of life and lots of love left in her, and will charm her way into your heart with her gentle sweetness.

Congratulations Loki!!

Loki is a handsome, friendly pup that just joined MaPaw. He is estimated to be 1.5 – 2 years old. His baby blue eyes will capture your attention and invite you for a romp. This boy has the play bow perfected!

We are still getting to know Loki and we will be updating his profile. He is a rather high energy dog that will need a canine playmate. True to his breed, Loki cannot be around small dogs, cats or critters.
