Codi and Zeus met each other after they arrived in rescue and have become bonded to one another. True to their husky breed, both of these good natured pups are known escape artists, however since finding each other they never challenge the fence. MaPaw’s caretaker believes they’ve stopped trying to escape because they’ve found contentment in being with each other, so it has been decided that they will be happiest adopted out together to be forever companions. Codi is a friendly and affectionate girl with a happy wag who came into rescue as a result of divorce. Zeus is a funny and energetic adolescent male who loves humans and his gal pal Codi, but isn’t too crazy about cats. If you’re a husky savvy home who’s looking for a wonderful pair of dogs, then Codi and Zeus might be perfect for you.

Otis is a little brown eyed husky mix. He’s a funny little guy with a sweet, affectionate nature. His friendly personality and fluffy tail are his most obvious husky characteristics. He gets along with most everyone, especially women. Otis has no food aggression, plays well with other dogs, and does well on a leash. He would be particularly happy in a forever home with an active female human companion who he can go on fun walks with and then snuggle together at the end of the day.

Rufus is a great talker and could be just the dog for you if you’re looking for a fun woo-woo conversationalist. Rufus is a very good natured guy who came into rescue as a result of his former owner’s need to downsize into a smaller living space. He is housebroken and has no food aggression. Rufus has a good amount of energy and enjoys getting out for a walk, or just hanging around the yard. Rufus is friendly with all people but can be choosy when it comes to other dogs, mainly males. He enjoys the company of all of the females we’ve paired him with in the MaPaw play yard.

Bella is a sweet and sassy eight year old Siberian with beautiful baby blue eyes and a constant grin. She is a petite girl with a huge personality. Sadly, Bella was a victim of the economy and needed to come to us until we could find a new forever home for this sweetheart.

Bella is at a wonderful age ~ she is calm and trustworthy in the house. When invited, she loves to kick up her heels and play. She is wonderful with other dogs and loves quality time with people. She has a beautiful voice and will greet you with “woo woos”. She walks well on a leash (husky style) and loves walks and car rides. Sadly Bella has an inoperable tumor and she will be staying with her foster family (who officially adopted her in June 2015).

Look at that sweet face! Nikita is a gentle, petite, and friendly girl. She is house broken and shows no signs of food aggression. Nikita has occasional seizures which are treated with modestly priced medication, and she is doing very well in her foster home. She’s good with children, gets along with other dogs, and walks well on a leash. She can be a bit shy at first, but you’ll have a dear friend once she gets comfortable and warms up to you. She knows her basic commands and responds to them selectively (like any young husky). At home Nikita respects boundaries with baby gates (even though she could easily jump them), and when you’re ready to venture out, she would love to join you for a joy ride in the car. Nikita is a dear dog who deserves a great forever home with that special someone.
