Tex is an approximately one-year-old pup, whose whole world changed
when he met the kind-hearted lady who couldn't turn
her back on him…
Tex had been beaten so badly his eye was damaged beyond repair and then he was dumped in a stranger's yard. A Good Samaritan found him and arranged for the vet care he so desperately needed. By some miracle this little guy survived everything.
Word traveled fast about the terrible abuse this young Siberian mix suffered, however, we were unsure how we could help him while on the other side of the country. Seems like Tex was meant to be a MaPaw dog; his Good Samaritan was planning a trip out east and offered to bring him to our rescue. Tex's condition stabilized and he was able to make his journey to MaPaw where we welcomed him with open arms.
Amazingly, Tex is a loving, affectionate and trusting puppy. He loves playing
with other dogs and would be best placed in a home with another playmate. He
may have lost an eye, but don’t take pity on this lil’ guy ~ he is now a happy, healthy boy and nothing slows him down!
Tex has a second leash on life and is just waiting for a family to love.
