Local Rescue asks for Public’s Help

Damien, a two year old black and white Siberian Husky with blue eyes, bolted from his car while being transported to his foster home in Frederica, DE on November 11, 2005.
Despite all efforts, he remains loose in the Frederica/Milford area.

Damien came into MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue after being taken from a neglect case where he and other Siberians and other dogs were kept in crowded conditions and not allowed outside. He knew no other people other than his owner, who was ill and unable to care for himself and the dogs.
Although frightened and unsocialized, Damien and his littermates quickly became friendly and anxious to make friends.

After being vetted and evaluated Damien was being transported to his foster home in Frederica where he would stay until MaPaw could place him in a permanent, loving home. Unfortunately, this scared little Siberian had no idea what was happening to him, panicked and ran into the adjoining fields and woods.

Rescue volunteers from three states have been looking for Damien, however, have been unsuccessful to date. He has been sighted numerous times by local people, who have been extremely cooperative in helping us.

Damien is a very small Siberian Husky that was last seen wearing a red collar and dragging his red leash. He has no ID tags, but is microchipped to MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue.

Lost Frederick County, MD on May 20, 2005

Thorin is a nine year old, neutered, male Siberian husky. He has a black and white coat, his left eye is blue and his right eye is brown. True to his breed Thorin is a very friendly and gentle dog. He has been missing from his yard in Frederick County, Maryland since Friday May 20, 2005. When he disappered he was wearing a blue collar that said “Thorin 301-831-9422” and a green electric fence collar. Sakari is an un-spayed female who weighs about 74 pounds. She's almost five years old. She has a white mask, underbody and legs. Her back, sides, head, ears and tail are a mix of golden/brown with black tips. Sakari needs special food or she gets severe diarrhea. PLEASE if you see her or hear anything about her, contact me. Sakari was not wearing a collar or tags.

Lost near Caroga Lake, NY on May 26, 2005

My Australian Cattle Dog left my sisters house in Norwood...she was watching him while I moved... Found Dog Southampton/Tabernacle on 3/02/05

Last night we found a very well behaved beautiful Alaskan Malamute. She was found at the Red Lion Circle (rt 206 & 70). She is black/white/gray and my guess is that she is about 7 years old.

Blue Merle Aussie Missing, Harleysville-Telford, PA Area

.Joey slipped off of his leash when my son had him out Friday in the
late morning. I was not home and didn't know about it until a couple
of hours later.

Joey is a 4 year old blue merle Aussie with full white trim and
copper points. He also has a fairly noticeable iris coloboma in his
right eye.

He's pretty friendly, a bit reserved with strangers, but if they
call his name he warms up really fast. He does not bite and is
microchipped.

.Her name is Abby and she lived in Morton Delaware County.My friend has called all the police stations in the area and the SPCA but she still hasn't been found.I'm posting a picture of her,she is black and white with blue eyes,unfortunatly she wasn't wearing any ID at the time.She is a very sweet little girl and very friendly too.She is the one that Trapper is looking at on the left.

Lost July 2, 2001 near Harrisburg, PA

I am desperately trying to locate my 2 yr. old female Siberian Husky. She was last seen in Harrisburg, PA along Elmerton Ave on July 2, 2001. She has 2 blue eyes and is black and white in color and weighs about 53 lb. Her name is DIMAS (Dee-Miss) and she had on a purple nylon collar w/ID tags and a purple choker chain. She has health problems and is on 3 medication for these problems. I am fearful that someone has kept her and possibly taken her out of the area. When she is on her medication she is a beautiful normal dog but after being off of her pills things change. She loses her hair in clumps, has bumps (like acne) on her nose and around her eyes that become crusty and hard, her skin becomes red, and she itches nonstop. I have filed reports with my area local shelters and if she is brought into a shelter farther away and isn't adopted out because of these allergy's/skin disorder I am afraid she'll be put to sleep.

Lost in Fleetwood, PA (Possibly heading toward NJ) around 1/20/2005

Clancy

Please crosspost widely in NJ and PA to rescues, shelters, and Vets offices. Clancy was 104 miles from his original home and may be headed back there, there there is nobody waiting for him.

Clancy was adopted on 1/9/05 to a family in Fleetwood, PA and the people left him out in the yard unattended. The poor guy was so frightened that he jumped the fence and ran away. He was adopted out and may be trying to find his way back to NJ where he was surrendered after his mistress dies. Being frightened and feeling alone, he could have headed in any direction.

He is described as a Golden Retriever/ Collie mix. Please look at his pictures.

He has a small patch of white on his chest and a thin but noticable strip of white running under his chin and down his neck as well as a small patch of white on his back left paw in the area of the toes. His ears appear to be darker than the rest of his fur and his muzzle is graying.

He is 6 years old, neutered and about 70 pounds but may weigh less now if he has not found food.
