True to her Name…
Meet Lucky ~ She is a senior gal, twelve years young. Sadly, Lucky's family has health issues and can no longer care for their beloved girl. Lucky was part of their family her whole life, a constant companion who now needs to find someone new to love.
Lucky, however, has lived up to her name. Lucky is lucky that she had a wonderful family that cared about her enough to seek options for her to continue on. She is lucky that timing was perfect and they met a caring MaPaw volunteer when they inquired at the local shelter asking for guidance. And Lucky was lucky when the folks at MaPaw took one look at this senior sibe and knew she deserved a second leash on life to find a comfy spot to spend her golden years.
Stay tune for updated pictures on this pretty gal ~ when she came in she was shedding, husky style, or "blowing cotton balls" and definitely having a bad hair day. All part of being a husky! She has since been brushed out and looks forward to her "coming out" picture to impress everyone!
She is settling in at her foster home and getting along just fine with the other dogs. She is a bit anxious, no doubt a little apprehensive about where she is, what is happening to her and were her old mom is.
